Job Description and Requirements
We Are
Synopsys is the leader in engineering solutions from silicon to systems, enabling customers to rapidly innovate AI-powered products. We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow.
You Are
You are a program leader who has spent over a decade in the semiconductor world, building both the technical depth to understand digital design flows and the program muscle to move cross-functional teams toward a shared goal. You know that the hardest part of scaling a new methodology is not proving it works in one project, it is getting 15 teams across three geographies to adopt it without breaking their existing workflows. You think in roadmaps and dashboards, not status updates. You are comfortable sitting in a room with senior engineers debating tool performance, then walking into an executive review an hour later and explaining why this program matters in three slides.
You do not wait for perfect alignment. You ask the right questions, surface the blockers early, and find a path through ambiguity that keeps teams moving. You have a point of view on what good program execution looks like, and you push back when scope creeps or communication goes vague. Tracking details energizes you, whether it is building a Jira workflow, maintaining a program dashboard, or running operations that keep a global team synchronized.
At Synopsys, you will work at the intersection of digital IP development, AI methodology adoption, and EDA tooling, driving programs that shape how semiconductor design gets done.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Manage execution of multiple programs focused on digital design flows, AI methodology deployment, and operational improvements across Interface IP R&D teams
  • Partner with technical leaders across engineering disciplines, product teams, and EDA technology experts to define program objectives, scope, and deliverables
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, dashboards, and analytics that track progress, surface risks, and enable data-driven decision making
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align program goals with company strategy and ensure visibility into critical business initiatives
  • Present program status, risks, and outcomes to executive audiences, translating technical complexity into clear business impact
  • Run team operations including newsletters, internal websites, Jira tracking, and cross-functional coordination mechanisms
  • Work across global teams to identify workflow gaps, drive operational improvements, and enable adoption of best-in-class digital methodologies

The Impact You Will Have
  • Scale the adoption of advanced digital methodologies and AI practices across multiple digital IP product lines, directly improving design productivity and quality
  • Influence cross-functional teams to adopt new workflows and tools ahead of industry trends, strengthening Synopsys market position
  • Drive measurable project success by closing workflow gaps, enabling operational improvements, and reducing time-to-market for IP releases
  • Enable communication and coordination across geographically distributed teams, ensuring alignment and reducing friction in complex program execution
  • Facilitate smooth execution of Digital Methodology team initiatives that directly affect how hundreds of engineers design and verify semiconductor IP
  • Support advancement of innovations in quality, productivity, and execution excellence that become repeatable practices across the organization
  • Create visibility into program health and technical progress that allows leadership to make faster, better-informed decisions

What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry with a strong foundation in digital design, verification, or EDA tooling
  • Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager leading complex, cross-functional programs in semiconductor development environments
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, build program plans, and drive execution to completion
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing and presenting to executive audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to create dashboards, track metrics, and use data to drive decisions
  • Understanding of artificial intelligence or machine learning methodologies and their application to semiconductor design flows
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite, Unix, and Perforce
  • Experience with digital front-end flows, Synopsys verification tools, and Fusion Compiler is a plus
  • PMP or other relevant program management certifications are a plus

Who You Are
  • You are proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities without losing track of details
  • You are an excellent communicator with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly at different levels of abstraction
  • You are a team player who thrives in collaborative environments
  • You are detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities
  • You are driven by technology and innovation

The Team You'll Be Part Of
You will be joining the IPG Digital Methodology and Enablement team at Synopsys, a global team supporting multiple product lines, technologies, and initiatives. This team acts as the interface across Interface IP R&D and CAE teams, customers, and EDA technology experts to create unified solutions that address the growing needs of internal development teams. You will work cross-functionally with internal development teams and have exposure and visibility on a global scale throughout the organization. In this role, you will collaborate with the industry's most talented professionals, empowered by the Synopsys EDA ecosystem, to deliver high-speed silicon-proven interface IP solutions in the latest process technology for cutting-edge industry verticals. Together, you will fuel the new era of Smart Everything.
