About the Role

We’re looking for a driven, entrepreneurial Business Development Specialist to help expand our footprint across the New York metro area. This is a high-impact role responsible for building distribution, growing retail partnerships, and bringing our brand to life in market.

If you enjoy opening new accounts, building relationships, and seeing the direct results of your work on shelf and in cooler, this role offers strong ownership and growth opportunity within a rapidly expanding beverage company.

Key Responsibilities

· Proactively identify and open new retail and on-premise accounts to expand distribution and grow market presence

· Drive incremental shelf space, cold box placements, and promotional activity to increase brand visibility and sales

· Partner closely with distributor sales teams to execute priorities and accelerate territory growth

· Build strong relationships with store managers, buyers, and owners to become a trusted partner in your accounts

· Execute in-store merchandising, displays, pricing, and product rotation to ensure brand excellence

· Monitor inventory levels and performance, taking initiative to resolve out-of-stocks and drive reorders

· Support in-store promotions and local activations to generate trial and brand awareness

· Manage your territory with ownership and accountability, consistently achieving sales and distribution targets

Requirements:

Required Qualifications

· High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

· Minimum 2 years of field sales experience (beverage or CPG preferred), with hands-on exposure to merchandising, distributor coordination, and in-store execution

· Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to independently manage a territory and drive measurable results

· Strong relationship-building skills and confidence working directly with store managers, buyers, and distributor teams

· Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and mobile sales or reporting tools to track performance and manage accounts

· Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the New York metropolitan area

· Comfortable performing physical merchandising tasks, including stocking cases and setting up displays

· Open to occasional non-local travel as business needs require


Preferred Qualifications

· Bilingual in English and Chinese, with the ability to confidently engage diverse retail and distributor partners
