Position Overview
**PART TIME

You'll act as the first point of contact for the business, answer phone calls, schedule/confirm appointments, handle mail and deliveries, data entry and updates, customer follow-up, and help us with other operational duties to keep everything running smoothly. Responsibilities
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, copying, filing etc.
• Answer incoming phone lines and direct accordingly.
• Manage voice mail/messages appropriately.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service and assist customers with payments, billing clarification, coverages, and policy changes.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Maintain confidentiality with the capability of communicating sensitive or confidential issues with the utmost discretion.
Qualifications
• High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
• Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations
• At least one year of receptionist or administrative assistant, experience, or similar preferred
• Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills
• Able to learn computer functions
• Spanish speaking is required
This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies.
