We are seeking a proactive, strategic and result-driven individual to join Shift4's Business Development team. Our team focuses on retaining and expanding our share-of-wallet and revenue within the existing strategic merchant and partner base. You'll be responsible for contributing to Shift4's long-term growth by leading high-impact commercial deals, project management and strategic projects that align with both Shift4's and our clients' objectives.

Location: Spain, UK or Portugal (Remote/Hybrid) Responsibilities Become a trusted advisor for each account by maintaining a great relationship with key members at the customer's corporate. Manage and optimize the operational processes for partners and merchants within Shift4.

Become an advocate for each account within Shift4 to make sure all activities are scheduled and prioritized correctly. Drive sales and business expansion efforts, targeting both partner collaborations and e-commerce entities, with a strategic focus on designated verticals. Generate sales and create new business opportunities, while managing sales processes and negotiating terms until reaching the final commercial agreement with both partners and merchants.

Oversee and monitor all onboarding and integration processes, working in concert with various internal teams to ensure a smooth transition to operational status for new clients and partners. Liaison with business development concerning enterprise account challenges, opportunities, corporate structure changes, initiatives. Demonstrates leadership skills and the ability to work in challenging environments.

Qualifications Proven at least 3 years in sales/business development experience, selling online acquiring/payment services to the e-commerce/online payment industry whilst working for a financial institution or online Payment Service Provider A deep understanding of the credit card acquisition process and the broader online payments landscape. Experience working in a global or multinational business environment. Strong commercial acumen with refined analytical abilities, sharp and independent.

An autonomous self-starter with a keen business sense, exemplary negotiation acumen, and strong presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to connect with stakeholders at all organizational levels, coupled with robust communication abilities, both verbally and in writing. Proven network within the industry will be highly considered Proficient in Business English with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally in written and spoken form.
