Pay Range: $34.61 - $51.57 per hour

Rush salaries are determined by many factors including, but not limited to, education, job-related experience and skills, as well as internal equity and industry specific market data. The pay range for each role reflects Rush’s anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position. Offers may vary depending on the circumstances of each case.

Summary:

This position leverages Salesforce to develop workflows, configurations, customizations, and applications. Works with the business to customize/update complex software for computer programs, designs prototype applications, implements and tests source code, troubleshoots software applications and effectively executes the development plan. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

Required Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or 3+ years working in an IT related discipline.

• Knowledgeable of ITSM, workflow development practices and techniques.

• 2+ years development working on Salesforce (i.e.: APEX).

• 2+ years’ experience documenting requirements, designing in a Salesforce enterprise environment.

• Experience with scrum and other agile based methodology of software development.

• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

• Analytical, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Job Qualifications

• Certified Salesforce Developer.

• Certified Salesforce Administrator.

• Develops software applications, workflows, and configurations to meet customer needs.

• Creates actionable technical documentation based on gathered business requirements.

• Assists with scoping and planning of various CRM related projects and initiatives.

• Develops and maintains SFDC Visual Force pages, Apex classes and triggers.

• Performs routine administration functions for Salesforce.com.

• Creates documentation, including training documentation and manages release notes (Git) environment of similar.

• Participates in cross-functional teams that address strategic business issues.

• Supports the deployment of changes to production.

• Understands and follows through with business requirements during all phases of development.

• Transforms design into functionality; tests and maintains layouts and other components to enhance user-experience.

• Collaborates with other developers to ensure consistency and quality.

• Continuously maintains; tests and troubleshoots issues and problems.

• Creates installation, troubleshooting, and end user documentation.

• Provides support and follow-up for issues.

• Communicates effectively within the RUMC (Rush University Medical Center) organization and all teams.
