Job Description

Q Analysts, a Qualitest Company is looking for a Customer Service Representative (Field)/ Data Collection Technician for a 10-12 week contract to support Ground Truth Data Collection initiatives and contribute to the development of VR and AR products. The focus of ground truth data collection is to capture various types of data relating to humans, speech, and environments to enable quality Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning algorithms.
The candidate will be responsible for performing data collection directly at participant homes and offices in the Burlingame Area while utilizing sophisticated highly confidential prototype equipment and ensuring quality control protocols are strictly adhered to. The ideal candidate has the perfect blend of customer service skills, technology skills and keen attention to detail, and should be comfortable using MacBook and iPhone OS.
Main Responsibilities:
-Use client provide proprietary equipment in real participant home environments and commercial office spaces to perform data collection protocols as trained
-Prep and maintain assigned equipment and ensure security of proprietary devices
-Prep participants for capture including intake, NDAs, scripting and answering questions
-Maintain capture environment and implement lighting and staging changes
-Respond swiftly to project updates and changes
-Provide feedback to operations lead on project improvements
-Perform data uploads and quality control checks
-Help with participant outreach and scheduling
-Other duties as assigned
-Troubleshooting: Ability to mitigate issues, customer-facing or technology related
Qualifications
  • Experience in a related role such as customer service or data collection
  • Must be comfortable using MacBook Pro and iPhone
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and its components (SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, Google Sheets)
  • College degree preferred and 2+ years working in a team environment

Additional Information
Must Have:
  • This role requires reliable personal transportation. Mileage will be reimbursed
  • This role requires flexibility in terms of shift timings. There will be three shifts - day, evening and night (night shift will end no later than 2 am).
