What you can expect:

As an intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a business-to-business environment, learning how we support financial professionals through a consultative approach.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:  

  • Gaining hands-on experience and learn business-to-business sales including all aspects of a consultative sales model  

  • Supporting strategic sales initiatives, research, and presentations

  • Collaborating with internal teams to improve processes and client experiences 

  • Learning the fundamentals of wholesaling and financial product distribution

  • Partnering with the broader sales team to provide solutions and initiate efforts to improve process efficiencies 

  • Providing client services support and collaborating with internal business partners to meet customer sales and service needs 

You will be empowered to contribute in a meaningful way, add new value to organization initiatives and effect change. Your placement within the Sales Internship Program will be within Retirement Strategies.

Retirement Strategies (Newark, NJ Hybrid; Dresher, PA Hybrid; Shelton, CT Hybrid): The Retirement Strategies team at Prudential delivers industry-leading solutions for growth and protection to more than 2 million individual and institutional customers.  The Retirement Strategies business is comprised of Individual Retirement Strategies and Institutional Retirement Strategies. Prudential Annuities is a division within Prudential’s Individual Retirement Strategies Group that provides innovative retirement solutions to help financial professionals grow their business and ensure that their clients meet their retirement income needs.

What you’ll need:  
 

  • Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s program graduating between December 2027 and May 2028

  • Open to all majors
