Join Our Team as a Human Resources Business Partner! 

This position is an ONSITE role based out of Nashua, NH. 

Are you a strategic HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can support teams at all levels? As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, helping drive business success through people strategies. You will partner closely with managers to navigate organizational growth, develop talent, strengthen employee engagement, and lead through change. In this role, you'll translate business objectives into actionable people solutions, leveraging data, insights, and strong business acumen to influence outcomes. You'll play a critical role in shaping culture, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and delivering an exceptional employee experience while ensuring compliance and operational excellence. 
What You Will Do:
  • Partner directly with business leaders to align people strategies with organizational goals and drive business performance.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders on employee relations, talent management, organizational effectiveness, and change leadership.
  • Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization, fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and engagement.
  • Analyze workforce trends and people metrics to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and develop proactive solutions.
  • Lead and support organizational initiatives involving workforce planning, restructuring, succession planning, and talent development.
  • Manage employee relations matters with professionalism, objectivity, and sound judgment.
  • Partner with leaders to drive performance management processes, employee development, and career growth discussions.
  • Support the attraction and selection of top talent by participating in recruiting and hiring activities.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws while providing practical guidance on HR policies and practices.
  • Champion employee engagement initiatives that strengthen culture, enhance retention, and improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Identify development needs within client groups and collaborate with leaders to implement meaningful learning and growth opportunities.
  • Act as a change agent by helping leaders and teams successfully navigate transformation and business evolution.
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence and cross-functional partners to deliver integrated, scalable HR solutions
What It Takes:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including direct partnership with business leaders.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing leaders and driving strategic people initiatives in a complex organization.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, performance management, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, coaching, and consulting skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience using data to inform decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Experience leading through change and helping organizations adapt in evolving business environments.
  • Self-motivation, resilience, and the ability to balance strategic priorities with day-to-day execution.
  • A passion for creating exceptional employee experiences and building high-performing teams
What Makes You Stand Out:
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, engineering, or technology-focused organizations.
  • Professional HR certification such as SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP, or SHRM-CP.
  • Experience supporting multi-site or geographically dispersed teams.
  • Experience with organizational design, workforce planning, or change management initiatives

$87,800 - $117,100 a year
Protolabs offers a competitive total rewards package, and compensation mix vary based on position, such as base wage, as well as other earnings including incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, job function, work experience, specialized skills, training, education, and certifications. 
Proto Labs maintains ITAR-compliant operations in all of our United States based facilities.  Due to ITAR regulations, this role is only open to U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents (green card holders) or foreign nationals granted refugee or asylee status.  Individuals with temporary visas (e.g. E, F-1, H-1, H-2, L, B, J, TN or OPT) are not eligible for hire in this role.
