You will have the opportunity to influence how Pacific Life measures and reports economic performance and supports enterprise decision-making through its economic framework.
How you will make an impact:
Economic Value Reporting and Analysis

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on economic value measurement concepts and their relation to U.S. GAAP, statutory accounting, capital management, and enterprise risk management objectives

Economic Value Transformation and Process Modernization
  • Partner with the organization to define strategic transformation initiatives designed to modernize and enhance the economic reporting process across the enterprise. Partnering with the Finance & Actuarial Projects team as they execute to deliver that strategic design.
  • Partner with business and technology teams to define future-state operating models, reporting architecture, and data strategies
  • Drive automation efforts and reporting enhancements that improve reporting efficiency, controls, and data quality
  • Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes through process redesign, workflow optimization, and technology-enabled solutions
  • Communicate process improvements, transformation milestones, risks, and issues to management and executive leadership.

The experience you will bring:
