About the Role
Technical Program Managers (TPMs) play a critical role at Salesforce, leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives within our Technology, Marketing & Products organizations. TPMs are responsible for programs from beginning to end, streamlining processes and fostering more e ff ective communication. They work closely with executives and key company partners to drive critical programs and activities across the company.
The Data Solutions organization in Digital Enterprise Technology unites the core data teams managing our data infrastructure, platforms, metrics, algorithms, automations, and activations for AI agents and channel platforms for Salesforce. As a contractor Technical Program Manager for Data Solutions, you will drive and execute programs across three cross-functional pillars - Customer Success, Sales Domain, and Marketing, Automation & C360 Platform - enabling trusted data for decision-making, empowering agents and automations, and leveraging data to drive actions and activations. Every piece of data is a signal to power the Agentic Enterprise, and this role is at the forefront of that transformation.

Your Impact
  • Lead programs by aligning across program scope and release planning, as well as aligning one or more teams on vision and business goals, crafting program structure, and securing cross-functional alignment.
  • Drive teams through the software engineering experience using Agile, analytical, and technical skills.
  • Drive Steering Committee meetings with key partners for each program to help make key decisions, remove obstacles, and address key program issues. Ensure business goals are met and drive the strategic vision of each program.
  • Develop strong partnerships with key functional team members to drive focus on business goals. Be a trusted partner for stakeholders to ensure program success.
  • Partner with cross-functional teammates to drive workgroup alignment meetings to address tactical release issues, dependencies, team status, production issues, metrics review, achievements, etc. (cross-functional - Product Owners, Marketing, Scrum Leads, UX, CX).
  • Lead program/feature dependencies across multiple teams, scrum teams, functions, divisions, and partners.
  • Anticipate and remove obstacles with a sense of urgency that slow down or prevent project teams from delivering on project goals.
  • Provide monthly program reviews and updates at sprint reviews (deep dive into the current state of project goals, risks, and critical issues).
  • Create a collaborative environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and learning.
  • Create clarity from chaos.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of enterprise software/technical program or engineering management experience at an enterprise technology company.
  • 5+ years of conducting and leading SaaS product development programs; demonstrated understanding of the SaaS business model and its product development lifecycle.
  • Experience working with the Salesforce platform preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a history of hands-on, detail orientation.
  • Deep experience with the software development lifecycle; ability to adjust and apply this knowledge in a dynamic environment using agile methodologies.
  • Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior stakeholders and team members.
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills conducive to driving consensus; able to work in a cross-functional, matrix management environment.
  • Experience with Portfolio Management.
  • Ability to master technical subjects and technologies relevant to the program (data science, data engineering, Salesforce Data Cloud/Data 360, Tableau).
  • Strong organizational, project management, analysis, and communication skills.

Program Scope
Customer Success Pillar - 30% Capacity
The Customer Success Score Pillar is focused on revolutionizing how Salesforce measures and drives customer value realization through a unified, ML-powered scoring framework. Major workstreams include building and evolving the three core score pillars - Product Adoption, Customer Expertise, and Technical Health - as well as delivering data products like the License Consumption Score (LCS) that power CSG compensation and target-setting initiatives. The program partners closely with CSG Product Management, Data Science, Engineering, and frontline Customer Success teams to ensure scoring accuracy, transparency, and actionable recommendations that drive customer outcomes at scale.
As a TPM for the CSS Scoring team, you will drive end-to-end program management across Customer Success scoring initiatives through disciplined planning and execution. Major workstreams include establishing a standardized planning process as teams migrate from quarterly to monthly planning cycles, managing program intake through delivery, and owning the resolution of major risks and blockers with clear RCIs defined. You will partner closely with Product Owners and Engineers across CSS scoring teams, serving as a trusted advisor to align planning rhythms, accelerate execution, and ensure consistent delivery cadences.
Sales Data Science Pillar - 30% Capacity
The Sales Data Science Pillar is focused on architecting intelligent selling by leveraging unified data and cutting-edge AI. Major workstreams include building the 360 Sales Intelligence Knowledge Graph from structured and unstructured data, and deploying the Agentic Seller Experience, which delivers personalized Next Best Actions and predictive insights directly to sellers via Slack. The program drives foundational SSOT (Single Source of Truth) data products and partners closely with the CRO organization, Global Sales Strategy, and frontline sellers to transform sales productivity.
As a TPM on the Sales Data Science team, you will identify cross-functional impacts of major projects within the org on the suite of products they own. You will help create roadmaps to

resolve these impacts and ensure they are addressed within the appropriate planning cycles. You will lead and own the execution of those roadmaps end-to-end. As the team operates on the new agile model of Pods and RISs, you will own the execution of the Pods and be responsible for driving delivery of the outcomes that Pod and RIS teams are aligned to. You will also own the migration to Linear for the Sales Data Science team and lead the creation of a Linear playbook for Sales Data Science and Data Solutions overall, incorporating best practices and learnings from teams already onboarding to the platform.
C360 Platform Program - 40% Capacity
As the TPM for the C360 Platform Program, you will serve as the central coordinator driving cross-functional dependencies across engineering, product, and platform teams. You will partner with the engineering team to develop and align on detailed execution plans, ensuring clear ownership, sequencing, and accountability across workstreams. You will track and report on delivery progress, proactively surfacing risks, resolving blockers, and keeping all stakeholders aligned on milestones and outcomes.
