Job description

Newmark Title Services is seeking a motivated Escrow Assistant to support one of our top Title Sales Executives. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in the commercial real estate industry. You will gain hands-on experience in escrow operations, client management, and real estate transactions, while working alongside a highly successful sales leader. 

  • Previous administrative, real estate, or customer service experience preferred, but not required. 

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. 

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn escrow software. 

  • Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow into expanded responsibilities. 

Salary: $24.00 - $31.25 hourly

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $24.00 to $31.25 hourly.  The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held.  In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).

  • Provide day-to-day support to the escrow officer and sales executive in managing title and escrow files. 

  • Assist in opening and processing new escrow orders with accuracy and efficiency. 

  • Communicate with real estate agents, lenders, buyers, and sellers to gather required information and documentation. 

  • Help coordinate closings, ensuring that all documents and funds are prepared and delivered on time. 

  • Maintain organized files, perform data entry, and prepare correspondence as needed. 

  • Proactively update clients and team members on the status of escrow files. 

  • Learn title/escrow procedures, compliance requirements, and company systems with the goal of advancing within the organization.
