Come join one of America's fastest-growing insurance companies. Since 1848, National Life Group has aimed to keep our promises, providing families with stability in good times and in bad. Throughout that history, we have provided peace of mind to those families as they plan their futures.
Our mission extends beyond the insurance and annuities policies that we offer. We strive to make the world a better place through our grants from our charitable foundation, paid volunteer time for our employees, environmentally sustainable and healthy workplaces, and events that promote the work of nonprofits in our own backyard.
We foster a collaborative environment with opportunities for growth and encourage our associates to live our values: Do good. Be good. Make good.
Please note that we do not offer visa sponsorship for this position.
National Life Group is transforming the future of Life and Annuities. As Head of Product & Distribution Marketing, you will serve as the strategic bridge between Marketing and the Enterprise, owning go-to-market strategy, positioning, and growth execution across the portfolio.
This leader will integrate market insight, distribution strategy, data, and AI-driven personalization to deliver measurable growth, agent engagement, and competitive differentiation.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise & Strategic Leadership

  • Translate market intelligence, analytics, and AI-driven insights into clear business actions.
  • Lead GTM strategy, positioning, messaging, and launch planning across Life and Annuities.
  • Partner across Product, Distribution, Operations, and Field leadership.

Product Marketing & Go-To-Market
  • Own end-to-end GTM for Life and Annuity products (e.g., Instant Decision, Whole, Term, UL, FIAs).
  • Define differentiated value propositions aligned to agent needs and product economics.
  • Influence roadmap prioritization, competitive positioning, and launch sequencing.

AI-Driven CRM & Growth
  • Lead CRM and lifecycle marketing strategy across advisor and customer journeys.
  • Embed AI, automation, and advanced analytics into personalization and campaign orchestration.
  • Drive experimentation, targeting, and performance optimization to improve conversion, retention, and premium growth.
  • Optimize the full journey from awareness through onboarding and cross-sell.

Sales Enablement & Advisor Engagement
  • Design agent-first programs that accelerate adoption and loyalty.
  • Oversee development of sales enablement tools, product content, and promotional support.
  • Ensure marketing directly impacts pipeline and field performance.

Team & Performance Leadership
  • Lead and develop a high-performing product marketing team.
  • Establish dashboards, stakeholder forums, and performance metrics to ensure accountability.
  • Drive change through structured communication and capability building.

Experience & Capabilities
  • 10+ years in product marketing, CRM, growth, or consulting within Life and/or Annuities.
  • Deep expertise in advisor-centric distribution models.
  • Proven success leading GTM strategy, teams, and delivering measurable growth.
  • Strong Salesforce CRM and AI-driven marketing experience.
  • Executive-level communication and stakeholder leadership skills.
  • Strategic, data-driven, and effective in complex environments.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
