As a trusted name in transportation across the Midwest and beyond, Midwest Express is committed to safety, integrity, and customer satisfaction. The Customer Service Rep will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and timely movement of freight, supporting both our customers and operations team in a fast-paced environment.
JOB DETAILS:  FULL TIME, MON - FRI, 0800 TO 1730, $19/HR.  MEDICAL/DENTAL/VISION/LIFE/401K AFTER 90 DAYS.  PTO AVAILABLE

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule freight shipments to ensure timely delivery and pick-up
  • Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, and internal teams via phone, email, and in-person
  • Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve any issues or delays
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all shipments
  • Utilize PC-based systems to track, update, and manage logistics information
  • Meet demanding deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Support the overall efficiency and reliability of the logistics operation
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service (required)
  • At least 1 year of experience in trucking or logistics (required)
  • Strong PC skills and ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Excellent communication skills across phone, email, and face-to-face interactions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Dependable, accurate, and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Fast learner with strong organizational skills
