This  local driving position is ideal for individuals who value stability, teamwork, and the opportunity to make a direct impact on customer satisfaction. Drivers at Midwest Express  play a vital role in ensuring timely and efficient PUD's, while helping to uphold the company’s strong reputation in the industry.

JOB DETAILS - FULL TIME, MON - FRI, 0900 START TIME.  $23/HR, PAID WEEKLY.   MEDICAL/DENTAL/VISION/LIFE/401K AFTER 90 DAYS.  PTO AVAILABLEResponsibilities
  • Operate straight trucks safely and efficiently for local freight transportation 
  • Ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods while following all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards.
  • Use provided equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies for loading and unloading cargo.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections as required.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company procedures to ensure safety on the road and at delivery sites.
Qualifications
  • Experience operating straight trucks required.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Physical ability to load and unload cargo as required.
