Job description

Mayvin is seeking an Acquisition Analyst III to support the CPE Ground Soldier Systems.  The candidate will support the development of DOD Contracts and Acquisition Documentation for ACAT II - IV DOD Programs as well as Abbreviated Acquisition Programs (AAPs), OTAs / MTAs and other acquisition and contracting efforts. The candidate will be required to work in a collaborative team environment and be comfortable working matrixed personnel as well as both military, civilian, and other contracted personnel.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Must have an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate products and taskings across the acquisition process and life cycle phases
  • Assist with determining contracting strategy, prepares contracting documents, and coordinates activities with Army Contracting Command, and provides contract oversight for assigned projects
  • Develop and draft Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans and other acquisition documents to include Milestone related documentation
  • Lead tasks supporting pre-award contracts, financial management, risk management, total ownership cost determination, and contract coordination
  • Lead and oversee preparation of Supply Requests Packages to Defense Logistics Agency and manage transition of products from PM to DLA or Army Sustainment
  • Lead and provide oversight of product IPTs, test events, test reviews, and product demonstrations 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in DOD acquisition experience
  • Knowledge of and experience with DODI 5000.02
  • Defense Acquisition System
  • JCIDS

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience supporting US Army product management office
