Maintenance Technician
$37.00 an hour based on experience!!!
Shift:11 pm-7am, Sunday - Thursday

Location: Middlefield, Ohio: 35 miles from Akron and Cleveland, 15 miles from Warren, and 25 miles from Ravenna
Mercury Plastics, a Masco owned business unit, is a leader in innovative thermoplastic solutions serving various industries including: appliances, construction, liquid dispensing, marine, medical, off-shore and plumbing. With more than 50 years in operations, we have an established family-oriented culture and a team atmosphere.
SCOPE:
Responsible for all facility and production related equipment using the highest safety standards and maintenance best practices to produce a quality product in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
Perform all work in a safe and professional manner while maintaining a clean work
environment.
Quickly identify and resolve work requests on a wide variety of production equipment and processes.
Keep equipment in safe operating condition.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple work areas with multiple sites.
Complete work orders, PM rounds, repairs, and general maintenance.
Previous participation in safety and continuous improvement programs with the desire to help make improvements to existing programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School/GED required.
Three (3) years industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing preferred.
Technical Degree, Certification or equivalent trades training program with emphasis on electrical and/or fluid power.
Valid Driver's License with transportation required.
Self-starter, dependable, flexible and able to work with minimum supervision and guidance.
Background and experience in electrical with PLC's, pneumatics & hydraulic knowledge and familiarity a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to stand and walk for 2-3 hours at a time.
Must be able to lift and carry to up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to twist, pull, push, kneel, and bend.
Must be able to climb ladders and work from heights with proper fall protection.
