General Summary

The Client Relationship Manager (CRM) is responsible for building, maintaining, and expanding strong client relationships to drive revenue growth, deepen wallet share, and enhance overall client satisfaction. This role serves as a primary point of contact for clients and works collaboratively across business lines to deliver comprehensive financial solutions. CRM also manages one or more bankers and supports Private Banking, Treasury Management, and Deposit Growth initiatives.

Reports To: Regional Manager


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary relationship manager for a portfolio of clients.
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow deposits and overall client relationships.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities across lending, treasury, and private banking services.
  • Manage, coach, and develop assigned bankers to achieve performance goals.
  • Partner with Private Banking to deepen high-net-worth client relationships.
  • Collaborate with Treasury Management to expand fee income and operational services.
  • Drive new business through prospecting, referrals, and community involvement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and bank policies.
  • Back-up tellers or bankers as needed.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Be familiar with and comply with the provisions of the Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act as they relate to the functions of this position. Complete all required reports related to those acts and reports any observed violations or potential violations of those acts to a supervisor or other appropriate bank officer.
  • Be familiar with and comply with all federal and state banking regulations as applicable.


Supervisory Responsibilities

May have direct or indirect reporting responsibility for multiple staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; handing complaints and resolving problems.


Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an Individual in this position must be able to perform each of the above essential duties satisfactorily and exhibit the values of the Company. In addition, the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.


Experience and/or Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in business-related major preferred or equivalent of three (3) years successful sales experience preferably in financial services
  • Minimum of five (5) years in banking or equivalent education
  • Previous experience as Branch Manager, In-Store Branch Manager, Treasury Management Officer, or Private Banker. Experienced Managers and emerging leaders will both be considered.
  • Bilingual is a plus
