Open Radio Access Network Engineer - (O-RAN)

Our client, an IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for an Open Radio Access Network Engineer - (O-RAN) for their Warren, MI location.

Responsibilities

This project aims to develop an Open Radio Access Network O-RAN networking infrastructure in an O-RAN compatible private 5G network deployment. In addition to the enabling networking infrastructure, the project co-develops UE-side applications with O-RAN-side radio resource control algorithms in forms of xApps to demonstrate application performance boost achieved via the cross-layer optimizations.

Requirements
  • MS or PHD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience with Open Radio Access Network deployment
  • Experience with 5G Private Networks
