Job Overview
The Associate Engineer, Deployment at T-Mobile is responsible for executing and optimizing network infrastructure deployments across hardware, software, and integrated systems. This role supports scalable initiatives such as 5G expansion, transport modernization, and cloud infrastructure deployment by ensuring operational readiness and deployment quality. Utilizing standardized workflows and automation tools, the position enhances delivery consistency and efficiency. The Associate Engineer collaborates with engineering, operations, and vendors to troubleshoot issues and maintain visibility into deployment progress. Through these efforts, the role contributes to improved deployment quality, operational stability, and the advancement of T-Mobile's network capabilities.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Executes network infrastructure deployments to ensure operational readiness and quality across hardware, software, and integrated systems
  • Optimizes deployment processes to enhance delivery consistency and efficiency through standardized workflows and automation tools
  • Supports scalable initiatives by contributing to 5G expansion, transport modernization, and cloud infrastructure deployment activities
  • Collaborates with engineering, operations, and vendors to troubleshoot deployment issues and maintain visibility into progress
  • Monitors deployment activities to ensure adherence to quality standards and operational stability
  • Documents deployment processes and outcomes to facilitate continuous improvement and knowledge sharing

Education and Work Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Related Field (Required)
  • Associate's Degree Telecommunications, Information Technology, or Related Field (Preferred)
  • Less than 2 years Participating in network infrastructure deployments including hardware and software installation (Preferred)
  • Less than 2 years Utilizing automation tools and standardized workflows to optimize deployment processes (Preferred)
  • Less than 2 years Collaborating with engineering, operations, and vendors to troubleshoot deployment issues and monitor progress (Preferred)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Wireless Technologies Understanding of wireless network infrastructure, including 5G, transport modernization, and cloud deployments. (Required)
  • Process Improvement Ability to optimize deployment workflows and utilize automation tools for enhanced efficiency and consistency. (Required)
  • Collaboration Skill in working with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and vendors to ensure deployment quality and troubleshoot issues. (Required)
