How will you fit in the big picture?

As an Operations Planner Generalist, you will independently execute planning activities across supply and operations planning. You will turn demand and operational requirements into accurate, executable production and materials plans, influence outcomes through thoughtful analysis, and help the team achieve service, inventory, and financial objectives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What will you do?
  • Develop and communicate detailed production schedules for assigned operations in support of the master production schedule and longer-term planning strategy.
  • Manage MRP parameters and material requirements to support timely purchasing and delivery while meeting inventory objectives.
  • Analyze inventory performance, material availability, capacity, and shared resources; recommend actions that improve flow, service, cost, and productivity.
  • Maintainaccuratebills of material and routing information and support effective execution of engineering changes.
  • Own defined planning processes and small projects, track progress, resolve non-routine issues, and deliver commitments on time.
  • Partner with Operations, Procurement, Logistics, suppliers, and other stakeholders to communicate constraints, risks, dependencies, and recommended solutions.

Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in supply chain and/or manufacturing, with experience in production planning, scheduling, inventory, or materials management. Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required; JDA experience is a plus.

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally with emphasis in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Skills and knowledge: Supply chain management, inventory management, planning, materials management, operations management, structured problem-solving, analysis, clear written and verbal communication, teamwork, and the ability to prioritize multiple activities in changing conditions.
