Job description

Project Manager - Fleet Camera

Location: Radnor, PA

Onsite Flexibility: Onsite

Contract Details
  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 10 months
  • Pay Rate: $70.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to support the deployment of a new commercial fleet camera technology solution, transitioning the fleet from a legacy provider to a new solution. Road safety is the highest priority, and this role is critical to implementing advanced AI-powered tools that detect behavioral risks like fatigue, inattentiveness, and speeding. The successful candidate will oversee the physical deployment, coordinate change management, and align cross-functional teams to ensure all drivers and stakeholders return home safely every day.

Key Responsibilities

Deployment & Vendor Management

  • Engage directly with the new solution vendor to develop and execute a comprehensive implementation plan.
  • Manage the targeted rollout of camera hardware across the US and Canada.
  • Coordinate installation schedules.
  • Prioritize the deployment timeline for regions where 50% or more of the fleet is utilizing legacy SF300 camera models.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Legal, Labor, and Corporate HR to resolve constraints and successfully deploy cameras in the Canadian market.
  • Act as an ambassador for the new solution, integrating efforts alongside drivers, safety operations, distribution logistics managers, and the corporate camera technology program manager.
  • Ensure timely execution of the Master Service Agreement (MPA) by coordinating with IT Security and Procurement Legal.

Change Management & Program Enablement

  • Lead change management initiatives by developing robust internal communication strategies.
  • Create new program structures and training materials throughout 2026 and into 2027 to support the transition.
  • Establish new operational procedures, policies, and define camera program targets for 2027.

Control Tower & Strategic Initiatives Support

  • Facilitate the transition to the 2027 Control Tower (CT) system, ensuring real-time interventions for high-profile events and risky driver behaviors.
  • Manage the execution of the various CT initiatives.
  • Support the long-term roadmap for Blind Spot Information Systems (BSIS), advancing towards a goal of 100% installation on commercial vehicles by 2028.

Core Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Define scope, set objectives, and build detailed timelines, milestones, and work breakdown structures.
  • Resource & Budget Management: Allocate staff, procure materials, and monitor expenditures to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Risk & Blocker Mitigation: Proactively identify potential delays or constraints, and resolve them to keep the project on track.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Lead progress meetings and provide regular updates to executives, clients, and team members.
  • Quality Assurance: Evaluate final deliverables against the project requirements and ensure standards are met before closure.
Required Skills
  • Proficiency in project management frameworks such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
  • Experience with project management software such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or Microsoft Project.
  • Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and organizational abilities.
  • Emphasis on servant leadership to enable teams and remove roadblocks.
  • Strong background in managing large-scale hardware or technology rollouts across distributed networks.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex organizational structures involving HR, legal compliance, and operational leadership.
  • A firm dedication to safety performance and the understanding that there is no sustainable business without road safety.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with fleet logistics solutions, including Electronic Logging Devices (ELD), AI Dash Cams, and Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR).
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 certification.
Benefits
  • Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans
  • 401k Retirement Fund
