Scheduling Requirements

• Block scheduling is not guaranteed
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required

Floating Policy
Floating between 2 North and 2 West is required.
Patient Experience Requirements
Candidates must demonstrate a positive attitude, meet the needs of patients and families, and address service recovery as necessary. All issues should be escalated through the chain of command.
Certifications and Skills

• Required Certifications: BLS required
• Required Skills:
  
  • IV Starts
  • NGT Placement
  • Wound Care
  • Cardiac Rhythms
• Advanced Skills: Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation
• Procedures Performed: Lab draws, IV starts

Dress Code
Uniform: Navy scrubs. No fleece or sweatshirts permitted.
