Location: Harbor Point, MD

Onsite Flexibility: Hybrid (2 days on-site Tues/Weds)

Job Summary: T. Rowe Price Labs is at the forefront of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) capabilities across the firm to enhance decision-making, efficiency, and innovation. The Project Manager T. Rowe Price Labs will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of AI-related projects within this rapidly evolving space. This role combines the discipline of technology project management with the creativity and strategic agility needed to support AI initiatives that span across multiple business and technology domains. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and adaptable project leader who is passionate about emerging technologies particularly AI and Generative AI and thrives in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership and Execution

  • Support planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent AI projects and initiatives within the T. Rowe Price Labs portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations aligned with program goals.
  • Manage project interdependencies and coordinate deliverables across technology and business teams.

Stakeholder and Communication Management

  • Facilitate project meetings, prepare executive updates, and deliver clear, actionable reporting on progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex AI and technology topics into business-relevant terms.

Governance and Risk Management

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; escalate issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • Support documentation and operational readiness for AI tools at all phases of the product life cycle.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation

  • Promote adoption of best practices in agile project management, experimentation, and iterative delivery.
  • Contribute to T. Rowe Price Labs' internal playbooks, templates, and governance frameworks.
  • Continuously assess opportunities to enhance delivery processes and optimize collaboration across business and technology units.

Required Experience:

  • 8-10 years of experience managing technology projects, preferably within a financial services or highly regulated environment.
  • Proven track record delivering projects that involve emerging technologies, data platforms, AI/ML capabilities, or technology architecture.

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Agile project management methodology and tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitLab, and Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Strong ability to interpret and communicate technical AI concepts in a business context.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and other productivity tools.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to senior stakeholders.
  • High intellectual curiosity, adaptability, and a continuous learning mindset.

Preferred Skills:

  • PMP or PMI certification preferred.
