The Juvenile Welfare Board seeks an accomplished executiveleaderwho can inspire others, build partnerships, and guide one of Florida’s most respected child-serving organizations into its next chapter.The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of the JWB mission.This position serves as the nexus between the JWB Board and day-to-day operations at JWB, leads in coordinating and partnering with funded agencies, public entities, other funders of services in the County, elected officials and community leaders.

Reporting directly to the Board, the CEO serves as the organization’s chief executive and strategic leader while overseeing operations, financial stewardship, legislative engagement, community partnerships, and implementation of JWB’s Strategic Plan:FY27-FY28 JWB Strategic Plan

The CEO will:

  • Provide visionary leadership for the organization
  • Lead implementation of the Board’sadoptedStrategic Plan
  • Direct an Executive Leadership Team
  • Cultivate relationships with community partners and electedofficials

JWB is seeking an executive who brings:

  • Abachelor’s degree in human services, Business, Public Administration,Education,or related field isrequired.Advanced degree preferred.
  • Sevenor more years of executive leadership experiencein a mission-driven environment, preferably one related to families and children
  • Executive leadership of organizations with budgets exceeding$50 million.
  • Experience in government, nonprofit, human services, education, or related sectorsis highlypreferred.
  • Developing strategic plans and successful implementation including measurable outcomes ispreferred.

The hiring range is $200,000–$245,000 + depending on qualifications and experience.
