Job Profile Summary: Maintains and monitors the insurance procurement process which may include some international work. Works independently with general supervision.


Essential Functions:


  • Conduct analysis, assist with the design and execution of risk transfer programs for the corporation.
  • Identify and assess market conditions.
  • Develop procedures and processes and assists in the implementation.
  • Create controls of a global insurance program.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Additional Job Description:


The Sr. Analyst provides operational support for FedEx's Risk Management department, with a focus on data management, reporting, and coordination of insurance renewal activities. This role supports insurance programs, including captive insurance operations, and plays a key role in organizing, validating, and presenting information to support departmental objectives and decision-making.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Support data management and validation efforts for annual insurance renewals, working with internal stakeholders across operating companies
  • Organize and maintain datasets related to property, casualty, and other risk exposures to support renewal and reporting processes
  • Coordinate information flow between Risk Management, internal teams, and external partners to ensure timely and accurate submissions
  • Support analysis of data trends and operational metrics to inform reporting, planning, and decision-making
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Review and verify insurance coverage for contract partners to ensure compliance with company requirements and support effective risk transfer
  • Support a smaller, ongoing component of insurance operations (including claims and captive program activities) to provide context for reporting and analysis
  • Drive process improvements in reporting, data management, and overall department efficiency through automation and continuous improvement efforts


Minimum Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree/equivalent.


Minimum Experience:


  • Three years professional experience in risk management, and/or finance.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Strong human relations, communications and analytical skills.
  • Able to handle multiple projects concurrently and operate in a fast paced environment.

  • Experience in risk management, insurance, or operational support environments
  • Exposure to insurance renewals or data management processes

  • Ability to translate data into insights and actionable recommendations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines

Additional Details: This is a hybrid position located in Memphis, TN. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the campus location. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx campus location several times per week. This position is not eligible for relocation.
