Job description

Provides legal counsel and advice to the corporation and its subsidiaries. Ensures their effective operation in accordance with federal, state and local laws.

Essential Functions
  • Provide legal counsel, advice, review and direction to various departments and members of management on all levels.
  • Ensure company compliance with all applicable federal, state & local commercial regulations & ensure that all legal obligations of the company are properly recognized & carried out.
  • Stay abreast of existing & new regulations & review, analyze & provide comments to notices of proposed rulemakings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Juris Doctorate degree from an Accredited Bar Association (ABA). Accredited law school and admission to the bar. Superior academic record.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) years of experience and demonstrated competence as a practicing attorney in a relevant area of law.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

Ability to determine appropriateness of settlement or litigation. Excellent research and writing skills. Strong negotiation, human relations and communications skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

CA-bar admitted attorney with superior academic credentials and excellent research, writing, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experienced handling all phases of California employment, wage-and-hour class, and PAGA litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, trials, and appeals. Proficient with e-discovery platforms (RelativityOne) and AI tools such as Lexis Protégé, Gemini, and Copilot. Big Law experience.

Pay Transparency:

Pay: $13,531.20/mo - $18,267.12/mo

Additional Details: This position will be hybrid in Irvine, CA and candidates must live withina 50-mile radius. Employees will be required to work at a FedEx office location up to several times per week.
