Job description


To provide legal counsel and advice to the corporation and its subsidiaries to ensure their effective operation in accordance with federal, state, local and/or international laws.

Minimum Qualifications:

Juris Doctorate Degree from an A.B.A accredited law school and admission to the bar. At least six (6) years of experience and demonstrated competence as a practicing attorney in relevant area of law. Superior academic record. Ability to determine appropriateness of settlement or litigation. Excellent research and writing skills. Strong negotiation, human relations and communications skills.


Preferred Qualifications: Preference in Memphis | Employment Litigation law particularly Title VII; employment litigation experience; investigations experience, leave and accommodation law; strong written and verbal communication skills; project management experience; strong judgment and decision-making; attention to detail; collaboration and teamwork; Microsoft Office proficinecy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) | Law Firm employment litigation experience

Pay:

Additional Details: This position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN (preferred), PGH, PA, Plano, TX, Irvine, CA, or DC and candidates must live withina 50-mile radius. Employees will be required to work at a FedEx office location up to several times per week.
