What will I do?

As a Branch Operations Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of Client Management Specialists/Buyers who act as the point of contact for a sales agent(s) processing client products and business portfolios. This intricate network of partnerships drives our business, and we are looking for an Office Manager that is detail oriented, driven by team goals and business growth and is a motivating support for their team. Stephen Gould views the Branch Operations Manager role as integral to aligning customer requirements and ensuring we meet the highest standards for our customers, suppliers, and partners.

  • You will be responsible for leading the CMS/Buyer team, reinforcing compliance with all Stephen Gould policies, procedures, and behavioral expectations, in alignment with our 5 Principles.
  • You will partner with Sales Managers to align on collective branch visions and goals, driving productivity, accountability, and effective communication between SAs, branch teams and Corporate.
  • As an OM you will manage a team of (2-15+) Client Management Specialists, Buyers, and/or Project Managers who are directly partnered with the sales force to process Stephen Gould’s portfolio of business.
  • We see the Client Management Specialist role as a “gate-keeper to our success” and OMs oversee orders from inception to payment, in alignment with Stephen Gould policy and procedures.
  • As an OM you will be responsible for monitoring performance levels of the CMS/Buyer/PM team, writing and delivering performance reviews, as well as making annual compensation recommendations.
  • You will be the escalation point for suppliers, customers, sales agents, branch and corporate partners, and employees in terms of issue resolution.
  • We are intent on following a compliant process to local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and as the OM you will execute and foster these requirements at the branch.
  • As an OM you will compile monthly reports with regards to business activity and profitability and report out communicating these figures as needed.

Role Requirements

  • Associate degree in Business or related discipline + 5 years of experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience managing a team required
  • 3+ years of experience in a sales, service, or supply chain related role highly preferred
  • Experience in managing a customer service team in a supply chain or logistics environment.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and virtual communication and collaboration tools
  • Experience in a corporate sales and service environment
  • Experience in developing employees and workforce planning
