Education
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, self-starting Information Technology professional with a minimum BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in developing, implementing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting infrastructure\network architectures
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Should have better understanding of OSI Layer model and Packet Flow,
Wireless Networks -Meraki and Cisco WLC and Access Points
Minimum of 7 years of experience in deploying, managing, and tuning Wi-Fi networks in a corporate and manufacturing environment
Strong proficiency in Cisco wireless technologies, including experience with Cisco 9800 WLC and 9120/9130 Access Points
Solid understanding of Meraki and Aruba wireless technologies, with hands-on experience in managing and troubleshooting these platforms
Proven ability to plan and execute large-scale Wi-Fi deployments across multiple locations
Knowledge of network security protocols and best practices for securing wireless networks
Deploy, manage, and tune Wi-Fi networks in a corporate and manufacturing setting, ensuring optimal performance and coverage
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Network Engineers and IT Operations, to ensure seamless integration of wireless networks with existing infrastructure
Perform regular assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement, troubleshoot issues, and optimize Wi-Fi performance
Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders, including end-users and IT teams, regarding wireless network issues and solutions
Document network configurations, procedures, and guidelines for future reference and knowledge sharing
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary functions of the Senior Network Engineer, include (but are not limited to):
Maintain network\connectivity\cloud and associated solutions
o Provide day-to-day operation support, monitoring, maintenance, updates, triage, and troubleshooting for Enterprise Networking environment
o Provide expertise and collaboration on defining enterprise-wide technical design standards for network related technology solutions and propose solutions to leadership
o Create\Maintain\Update enterprise network diagrams and documentation
o Research, design, review, test, and implement network related technologies and solutions
o Engage in solutions research and deployment, systems standards, internet services, capacity planning, Disaster Recovery, platform upgrades\modernization, and process improvement.
o Contribute to design of network related solutions and partner with Information Security and Compliance in review of all solutions against corporate security and compliance standards and requirements
o Design, implement, maintain, and support Network Operational monitoring\alerting platform(s) including Business driven dashboards, metrics, and KPI reporting to facilitate clear communication of network related performance across the enterprise
o IP Address space design
o External facing infrastructure, fault-tolerance, redundancy, DR, etc.
Work with internal departments and clients to determine requirements and then execute\delegate required plans\steps complete implementation.
o lead efforts with cross-functional teams on enterprise network impacting initiatives and implementations
o Oversee Network-related projects and initiatives planning and implementation
o Work with required areas and support staff to facilitate appropriate logistical planning, communication, and execution of network related initiatives
o Collaborate across business areas to assure compilation of necessary business requirements from stakeholders
o Review and assess impact of proposed changes to existing environment
o Participate in implementations and support of all open initiatives and implemented network related technology solutions
Provide Mentorship, Training, Vision
o Provide technical leadership for network related technologies and solutions
o Work with Company leadership to develop medium- and long-term strategies as the company's goals and needs evolve
o Collaborates across the organization to perform solution impact assessment and set strategy for efforts with major business impact
o Maintain strong architectural expertise and knowledge of current and emerging technologies and products, and evaluates for both general and specific usage
o Overseeing test plans, network\connectivity viability reviews, performance metrics design\implementation, and overall network strategy
