Job Summary:
eTeam is seeking a Senior Network Engineer specializing in Automation. The role requires extensive experience in enterprise network engineering and strong proficiency in various network protocols and automation tools.
Responsibilities:
• 7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience with large scale, mission critical environments.
• Strong expertise in routing and switching protocols, including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EVPN/VXLAN, ACI.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, including: REST API integrations, Automation frameworks, Unit testing, YAML/JSON data modeling.
• Hands-on Ansible experience (roles, collections, Jinja2 templating, idempotent workflows).
• Strong experience with Terraform for network and cloud Infrastructure as Code.
• Packet capture/analysis tools for deep network troubleshooting.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for network automation (linting, testing, approvals, staged deployments).
• Familiarity with Network as Code, GitOps workflows, and version-controlled change management.
• Hands-on cloud networking experience across Azure, AWS, and/or GCP.
• Experience with SD WAN, firewall platforms, and NAC technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to design secure, scalable, and resilient network architectures.
• Proven experience developing internal automation frameworks, tools, or orchestration platforms.
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively across Engineering, Operations, and Business Units.
• Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities for complex multi-domain issues.
• Experience with Network assurance and telemetry platforms.
• Experience with API-driven orchestration workflows.
• Experience with Infrastructure monitoring and observability tools.
• Experience with Data center migrations and modernization initiatives.
• Experience with WAN engineering & optimization.
• Prior leadership experience in automation initiatives, architecture modernization, or network transformation programs.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience with large scale, mission critical environments.

• Data Center Network Engineering experience with expert automation skills in a Top 10 Bank, Fortune 100, or global enterprise environment.
• Technical certifications such as Cisco (CCNP/CCIE), Arista, Juniper, DevNet, Cloud certifications, or Terraform Associate.
• Experience with modern automation ecosystems: Nornir, NetBox, Nautobot, Batfish.
• Proven experience developing internal automation frameworks, tools, or orchestration platforms.
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively across Engineering, Operations, and Business Units.
• Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities for complex multi-domain issues.
