Software Engineer - Consent + Privacy
Position Overview
We are seeking a Software Engineer focused on Consent and Privacy to design, build and operate systems that enable lawful, secure and auditable handling of personal data. You will partner with product, legal and other stakeholders to build + design and ship products that improve consent management, privacy-by-design controls, and technical measures that ensure compliance with CCPA, GDPR and other privacy regulations while enabling product velocity.
Requirements:
Strong understanding and ย experience building applications / features w/ a focus on privacy + consent concepts, cookies, tracking technologies, user preferences and analytics.
Implement consent banners, preference centers, opt-in and opt-out flows, and user privacy controls
3-5 years of Javascript Experience working w/ modern frameworks like Typescript, React, etc.ย
Translate privacy requirements into clear product behavior, UI states, technical requirements, and engineering tasks
Ability to partner with product, design, legal, and engineering to build consent and privacy experiences that are usable, accurate, and technically sound
Bachelor's Degree in Comp Sci or related field
