The Senior Lead Field Architect is a senior, strategic overlay responsible for the technical "North Star" of our most high-stakes deal cycles. Unlike the Technical Solutions Engineer (TSE), who builds specific assets, the FA owns the end-to-end technical strategy, ensuring that the proposed solution is technically sound, secure, and aligned with the prospect's multi-year digital transformation roadmap.
WHAT YOU'LL DO- Enterprise Design Authority: Lead high-level "Future State" architecture workshops, mapping how Braze interacts with the broader enterprise stack (e.g., Snowflake, Salesforce, Adobe, etc.).
- Technical Stakeholder Management: Navigate complex technical committees and address concerns from Information Security, Data Governance, and Enterprise Architecture teams.
- Strategic Gap Analysis: Identify potential technical blockers early in the sales cycle and design creative, scalable workarounds that do not compromise platform stability.
- Standardization & Governance: Develop best-practice blueprints for common enterprise scenarios (e.g., multi-instance global deployments) to be reused across the SolCon org.
WHO YOU AREBeyond baseline API and SDK proficiency, a Field Architect must possess:
- Advanced System Design: Expertise in designing distributed systems and understanding the trade-offs between various integration methods (Batch vs. Real-time vs. Streaming).
- Data Strategy & Governance: Deep knowledge of how data is mastered, cleansed, and moved across an enterprise, including a strong grasp of Zero-Copy and Cloud Data Sharing paradigms.
- Change Management Consulting: The ability to advise prospects on the organizational changes required to support a modern engagement platform (e.g., Center of Excellence setup).
- Competitive Intelligence: A strategic understanding of the architectural weaknesses of legacy Marketing Clouds and how to position Braze as a modern alternative.
