    Your Role: 

    As an ALLDATA Business Solutions Manager (Field Sales), you will engage directly with owners of automotive mechanical and collision repair shops-both in person and by phone. Your mission is to understand each shop's unique operational challenges through a thorough business needs analysis, then recommend a tailored suite of ALLDATA solutions designed to enhance efficiency, strengthen workflow, and improve overall financial performance.

    What You'll Do:

     As an ALLDATA Business Solutions Manager, you will plan, execute, and manage the strategic sales activities needed to drive success within your assigned territory. You'll work closely with internal partners, including account management, product development, and marketing, to ensure a coordinated, customerfocused approach. This role rewards strong performance, and Business Solutions Managers who consistently excel enjoy significant earning potential.

    Position Summary:

    The ALLDATA Business Solutions Manager / Field Sales Representative is responsible for planning, executing, and managing the sales activities required to drive success within an assigned territory. This role focuses on partnering with a diverse range of mechanical and collision repair customers, understanding their operational needs, and aligning them with ALLDATA's suite of software solutions. You will navigate complex sales processes, apply established policies and procedures, and collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver seamless customer experience and maximize territory performance.

    Position Responsibilities - Other duties may be assigned:

    • Build, maintain, and expand a strong customer base within your assigned territory.
    • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly territory sales goals.
    • Install ALLDATA products and deliver both onsite and virtual training across all product lines.
    • Leverage existing ALLDATA customers to drive additional territory growth and product adoption.
    • Apply a consultative sales approach, including prospecting, discovery, solution presentation, and closing.
    • Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving issues promptly and ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
    • Support customer satisfaction and retention initiatives by meeting key performance metrics.
    • Provide management with insights on industry trends and competitive activity within the territory.
    • Participate in occasional evening and weekend events, including local trade shows, customer engagements, and partner activities.
    • Work Saturdays when business or sales demands require it.
    • Build and nurture relationships with strategic distribution partners.
    • Communicate and reinforce ALLDATA's unique value propositions in every customer interaction.
    • This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

    Position Requirements: 

    • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required, college degree preferred.
    • One to five years of proven direct sales success; automotive industry experience preferred. 
    • Demonstrated track record of driving sales growth and managing a territory independently.
    • Ability to type at least 30 words per minute.
    • Experience using online meeting platforms (TEAMS preferred).
    • Experience working with CRM systems; Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
    • Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Skilled in using common internet browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari.
    • Ability to visit a minimum of 8 shops per day.
    • Make at least 10 daily phone calls to prospects or existing customers.
    • Create 2 new opportunities, conduct 2 product demos, and set 2 appointments per day.
    • Begin each workday at a designated AutoZone store.
    • Ability to perform job duties that may include driving, standing, or sitting for extended periods, with occasional light lifting (typically under 8 pounds).

    The Total Targeted Compensation (TTC) is $125,000 at 100% quota attainment annually, which includes a $50,000 base salary with uncapped commission for exceptional earning potential, giving high performers the ability to earn well beyond that.
