Job description

American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. seeks Senior Infrastructure Engineers to architect solutions for information technology infrastructure and security issues.

Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience with information systems management and storage infrastructure products and operations. Experience must include 1 year of experience with each of the following: analyzing user requirements; defining and designing technical specifications; monitoring and maintaining software; software installation and configuration; and CISCO, EMC Data Domain, EMC XtremeIO, ESX, Linux, MDS switches and management tools, NetApp Clustered ONTAP, OpenStack cinder environments, NAS, SAS, S3 APIs, ViPR SRM, VMWare, and V-MAX. Telecommuting is available up to 2 days per week.

Deliver information technology infrastructure and networking initiatives that drive platform stability, innovation, and compliance. Deliver and configure hardware, as well as perform storage administration, system upgrades, monitoring, performance management, and data migration. Perform systems management and integration functions. Drive network load balancers and technical delivery of network configuration. Coordinate with business partners to establish dedicated networks and address network connectivity issues. Ensure support of internal and external partners and vendors on network infrastructure architecture and configuration projects.
