About the role
The Lead Site Operations is the floor leader of a shift of large portion of a large site operation. The role provides leadership for the supervisors, the technicians and the operates and other personnel. They are a resource to team members, providing knowledge, experience, motivation, support and advice. The Lead Site Operations is responsible for knowing proper procedures for workers to follow and ensuring that they comply. In a small site, this role may be combines with the Operations Manager responsibilities.
What you'll be doing
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Drive production staff performance by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
· Coach, counsel, discipline, motivated, encourage and train entry level employees.
· Maintain staff by training employees; and developing personal growth opportunities
· Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
· Ensure operation of equipment by calling for repair: evaluate new equipment and techniques
· Provide operational information by compiling, initiating, sorting and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests
· Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures
· Operate with complex spreadsheets

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:
· Able to communicate effectively and clearly in writing and orally, both in one-on-one and group presentation situations
· Able to interact and communicate with all levels of staff and management, including Senior Management and Human Resources

FUNCTION:
· Excellent problem solving, organizational, interpersonal, and motivational skills
· Excellent analytical skills and the ability to identity problem areas and make recommendations for improvement
· Excellent computer skills which must include Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Docs
· Experience with manufacturing or process management (e.g. 5S, Lean, Six Sigma)
· 5+ years of supervisory/management experience of production staff
· Focus on process or continuous improvement skills
· Experience with data processing, including Macro writing experience
· Knows the concepts of digitization or scaling operations
· PMP/PMI experience or certification
· Automotive or other manufacturing experience if it relates to management of complex processes or procedures or diverse staff
· Experience tracking metrics or enforcing performance requirements for a large team

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $70,304 - $102,256. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, key skills, and geographic location.
Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan. Available paid leave includes Personal Time Off (PTO) on an accrual basis up to 152 hours a year, 10 Paid Holidays, 1 Community Service Day, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
