Abrigo Jobs Information

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Client Success Manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Client Success Manager, you need a strong background in account management, relationship building, and customer service, often supported by a bachelor's degree in business or a related field. Familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce, customer support software, and data analytics tools is typically required. Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills help you proactively address client needs and foster long-term partnerships. These skills are essential for driving customer satisfaction, retention, and the overall growth of the business.

How does a Client Success Manager typically collaborate with other departments to ensure client satisfaction?

Client Success Managers regularly work cross-functionally with teams such as Sales, Product, and Support to address client needs and proactively solve issues. For example, they may partner with Product to relay client feedback and prioritize feature requests, or coordinate with Support to resolve technical problems quickly. This collaborative approach ensures a seamless client experience and helps drive long-term retention. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential for success in this environment.

What is a Client Success Manager?

A Client Success Manager (CSM) is a professional responsible for building strong relationships with clients to ensure they achieve their desired outcomes with a company's products or services. CSMs act as the main point of contact for clients, helping them navigate onboarding, addressing concerns, and identifying opportunities for growth. Their role focuses on maximizing client satisfaction, retention, and long-term value. CSMs often work closely with sales, support, and product teams to advocate for client needs and foster loyalty.

Our solutions automate key processes – from anti-money laundering to fraud detection to CECL readiness to lending workflows – empowering our customers by addressing their Enterprise Risk Management needs.

We are seeking a Client Education Consultant, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Client Education. The primary responsibility is training users at community financial institutions on Abrigo’s Credit & Lending solutions. Training may be conducted virtually, in-person, or a combination of both. This position will be located at our office in Raleigh, NC, Austin, TX, or remote.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver one-on-one and group training (virtual and onsite) to financial institutions on Abrigo’s credit and lending software solutions, with a focus on train-the-trainer education.
  • Guide clients through the effective use of our software to meet their unique business processes and lending strategies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and subject-matter expert, demonstrating deep understanding of credit and lending processes.
  • Partner with implementation and project management teams to support a smooth and successful client experience.
  • Complete all post-training documentation and follow-up to ensure client readiness and satisfaction.
  • Provide consultative support throughout the client lifecycle, including product enhancement feedback and strategic insights.
  • Develop and continuously improve training materials, knowledge base content, and other educational resources aligned with product updates and client feedback.
  • Contribute to internal enablement by training peers and cross-functional teams on product functionality and best practices as needed.
  • Continuously improve your product expertise through ongoing learning and active participation in team knowledge sharing.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

  • 3+ years of experience in SaaS training or management consulting, or 5+ years in credit and lending roles within a financial institution.
  • Demonstrated ability to tailor content and delivery style for various audiences, including executives and front-line users.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software platforms, with a track record of translating technical features into practical, user-friendly guidance.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills—in-person, virtually, and in written and visual formats.
  • Demonstrated customer-first mindset with a proactive approach to ensuring client satisfaction, resolving issues, and building long-term trust.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to various client environments and processes.
  • Comfort working independently while also contributing to team-wide process improvements and initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 50% of the time.
  • Strong understanding of commercial lending processes or loan origination systems is a plus.

What You’ll Get:
