Production Test Lead

ABOUT THE ROLE

Brooksource is seeking a Production Test Lead for a leader in the telecommunications industry to support a large-scale digital products organization focused on delivering high-quality customer-facing web and mobile experiences. This role is ideal for an experienced QA professional with strong automation skills who enjoys leading testing efforts, mentoring teams, and driving quality in fast-paced production environments. As a Production Test Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of enterprise-scale digital platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance testing efficiency. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to work on highly visible digital products and contribute to large-scale automation and quality initiatives, with potential for career growth.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Lead production testing, regression testing, and release validation activities for web and mobile applications
  • Develop and manage comprehensive test plans, test suites, and test cases
  • Track testing metrics, defects, and overall quality performance, ensuring transparency and accountability
  • Lead and mentor distributed QA resources, including onshore and offshore teams
  • Drive automation initiatives using modern testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, and Java
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, UX, and Operations teams to align testing strategies with business goals
  • Manage defect identification, triage, and resolution through JIRA and other test management tools
  • Utilize AI-enabled tools and Figma to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and user experience validation
  • Support enterprise-scale digital platforms and customer-facing applications, ensuring high standards of quality
  • Build or expand automation programs and foster a culture of continuous improvement within QA teams
WHAT YOU BRING
  • 7+ years of QA/testing experience in fast-paced production environments
  • Previous experience as a QA Lead, Test Lead, or Senior QA Engineer
  • Proven experience testing customer-facing web and mobile applications
  • Hands-on automation expertise with tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and Java
  • Experience with JIRA and test management tools for defect tracking and reporting
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring distributed QA teams
  • Experience working with onshore and/or offshore teams
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale digital platforms (preferred)
  • Experience building or expanding automation programs (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Figma and AI-assisted testing tools (preferred)
