About the Position...

The Labor Services II professional is responsible for growing and maintaining a medium size portfolio of union clients, along with developing relationships with prospective clients in the union and professional/small business market by identifying the financial needs of those clients and to fill those needs with the wide range of products and services offered by United Business Bank.  These products and services may include extensions of commercial and/or real estate credits, demand, savings or time deposit account products or other services offered.  They are responsible for analyzing a client’s loan request and determining whether a loan is within an acceptable risk within the framework of the Bank’s policy and for preparing the required documents and submitting it for approval.  This position is also responsible for providing service to existing client relationships, as well as to represent the Bank through involvement in union groups and their related events and activities.  The Labor Services II professional is also responsible for providing guidance and mentoring to branch staff and to be an escalation point when needed.  This position will perform all duties accurately, timely and efficiently and according to Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.  They will also assist the Regional Team Lead as needed and perform other duties as assigned.  

About You...
You are a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in a team environment. You also have the following:

Education/Certification: Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.

Required Knowledge: Knowledge of the union industry, as well as deposit and lending products and services, and deposit and/or loan operations and procedures. Knowledge of regulations and standard banking practices.

Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years' experience in the financial services industry, plus a minimum of 3 years of experience with unions.

  • Strong business development techniques and cross-selling skills.
  • Ability to identify, analyze and handle credit requests.
