Your Role at impact.com:

The Data Governance Manager is responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining data governance standards across the Salesforce ecosystem and our internal tools. This role ensures data quality, integrity, security, and compliance, enabling the business to maximize value from data while minimizing risk. The ideal candidate collaborates with cross-functional teams including IT, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Compliance.

What You'll Do:

Data Governance & Strategy
  • Develop and maintain the Salesforce and Operator data governance framework, policies, and standards.
  • Define data ownership, stewardship, and accountability across business units.
  • Champion best practices for data quality, metadata management, data lifecycle, and data usage.
  • Align Salesforce data strategy with enterprise data governance initiatives.
Data Quality & Integrity
  • Monitor and enforce data quality standards (accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness).
  • Lead data cleansing initiatives, deduplication efforts, and data validation rules.
  • Implement data quality dashboards, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms.
Compliance & Security
  • Ensure Salesforce and Operator data practices adhere to regulatory and internal compliance requirements (GDPR, CCPA, SOX, HIPAA if applicable).
  • Collaborate with Security and IT teams on data classification, access controls, and data retention policies.
  • Support audits and risk assessments related to Salesforce data.
Master Data & Metadata Management
  • Oversee master data definitions, picklist governance, naming conventions, and taxonomy standards.
  • Maintain metadata documentation and change management processes.
  • Partner with admins and architects to ensure structured, scalable data models.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Salesforce Admins, Developers, Architects, and Business Stakeholders.
  • Facilitate data governance council meetings and drive alignment on data priorities.
  • Educate teams on data governance principles, standards, and processes.
Operational Excellence
  • Manage data stewardship programs and assign data stewards.
  • Evaluate and implement tools for data quality, MDM, and data governance.
  • Support Salesforce release cycles to ensure data impacts are understood and controlled.

What You Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or Salesforce administration/architecture.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM data structures, objects, and relationships.
  • Experience with data quality tools, MDM, and governance methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
  • Salesforce certifications (Admin, Advanced Admin, Data Architect, Application Architect).
  • Experience working within enterprise data governance programs.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks relevant to the organization.

Background in Sales Operations, RevOps, or CRM management.

Salary Range: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year, plus an additional 5% variable annual bonus contingent on Company performance and eligible to receive a Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) grant.
