Standard Job Description You will be the Electromechanical Design Engineer for Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) . Our team designs, develops, and manufactures precisionengagement aerospace and defense systems for the United States and allied militaries, delivering missioncritical hardware that must meet the toughest reliability, performance, and security standards. What You Will Be Doing As the Electromechanical Design Engineer you will create innovative electromechanical concepts, develop productionready hardware, and partner with a broadbased engineering community to ensure successful program delivery.

Your responsibilities will include: Designing and developing electromechanical subsystems such as circuitcard assemblies (CCAs), harnesses, enclosures, and subassemblies. Producing detailed mechanical layouts, 3D models, and engineering drawings, selecting appropriate materials, components, and processes. Modeling wiring harnesses in Zuken and generating complete Bills of Material.

Building modelbased routing and layout packages that satisfy size, weight, and power constraints. Defining acceptancetest criteria, executing verification tests, and documenting results in Windchill. Conducting Material Review Board (MRB) actions, updating engineering change records, and maintaining configuration control.

Collaborating with structural and thermal analysts, configuration management, electrical/mechanical designers, subcontractors, planning, and quality teams. Providing technical support during design releases, assembly, inspection, and test phases. Traveling to supplier sites or manufacturing facilities as needed to resolve issues and validate hardware.

Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related STEM field from an accredited university Minimum 1 year of professional experience in Electromechanical Engineering or related discipline Experience with CREO/Pro Engineer or equivalent 3D CAD software Circuit card assembly (CCA) design experience Working knowledge of ASME Y14.5M Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Harness and cable design experience Experience with Zuken for interconnect and harness design Must be a US Citizen; must possess or be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance Desired Skills Working knowledge of ASME Y14.5M Dimensioning and Tolerancing Basic electrical knowledge and harness/cable design experience Zuken experience for interconnect and harness design Windchill Product Data Management experience CCA design experience Model-based design experience Experience working with DoD programs Experience working with electrical enclosures Experience with harness design, development, and production Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
