This position operates in a remote setting, utilizing telehealth platforms to conduct therapy sessions. Our team embraces a flexible work model, allowing therapists to engage with clients in the comfort of their homes while enabling them to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Virtual collaboration tools facilitate communication among our multidisciplinary team, enhancing the level of care we provide to each family.

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to meet the specific needs of children and families.
• Provide ongoing support in managing behaviors, such as developing anger management skills, coping mechanisms, and social skills to reduce instances of self-injurious behaviors (SIB) and physical aggression.
• Foster effective collaboration with the Child Family Treatment Team and other interdisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive care and shared strategies for supporting youth and their families.
• Submit timely documentation including intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to relevant regulations and organizational standards.
• Participate in monthly team meetings and contribute professional insights and recommendations to enhance treatment approaches.

This role primarily focuses on children aged 3-20 with developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges. You will work closely with their primary caregivers, providing support aimed at improving behavioral outcomes and fostering healthier family dynamics. Your expertise will be essential in navigating the complexities of developing individualized strategies that promote both emotional well-being and functional improvement within the home environment.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, Psychology, or related fields.
• An active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Illinois.
• Availability to provide a minimum of 5-10 hours of service during after-school hours (4-7 pm), with weekend flexibility considered beneficial.
• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for occasional in-person sessions and team meetings.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, including fingerprinting.

• Prior experience providing positive behavior support and therapeutic interventions in real-world settings.
• Experience working directly with children and adolescents who have intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is highly desired, facilitating communication with diverse families.

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 60,000 to 80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package that includes:
