Job description

Mpowerd is seeking a PT Volunteer Program Manager to help coordinate and administer the MOMentum Mentorship Program. This individual will play an important role in ensuring mentors and mothers have a meaningful and well-supported mentorship experience.

The Program Manager will oversee program logistics, assist with mentor-mentee matching, coordinate group learning sessions, and manage systems that support engagement and feedback. This is a remote volunteer role that works closely with Mpowerd leadership to steward and strengthen the program.

Key Responsibilities

Program Administration

  • Manage mentor and mentee application processes
  • Review applications and assist with thoughtful mentor-mentee matching
  • Maintain participant records and program tracking systems
  • Help refine program documentation and volunteer role descriptions

Mentor & Participant Support

  • Assist with onboarding mentors and mentees into the program
  • Serve as a point of contact for general program questions
  • Monitor mentorship relationships and provide support when needed

Virtual Learning & Mentoring Sessions

  • Coordinate twice-monthly virtual learning and mentoring sessions
  • Schedule speakers or facilitators for group discussions
  • Manage meeting logistics including scheduling, invitations, and reminders

Mentor Engagement

  • Facilitate quarterly mentor gatherings to support connection, encouragement, and learning
  • Encourage ongoing mentor engagement and participation
  • Celebrate milestones and recognize volunteer contributions

Program Evaluation & Improvement

  • Administer participant surveys and program assessments
  • Track participation and engagement
  • Provide insights and recommendations to help strengthen program impact
