Job Title: Yaskawa Motoman Robot Programmer
Locations: Novi, MI or Clinton Township, MI (must be open to travel for installations)

GableTek is a leading provider of industrial automation, controls, and robotics integration solutions. We support manufacturing clients across automotive, aerospace, and general industry with advanced installation, commissioning, and technical support services.Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Yaskawa Motoman Robotics Technician to support installation, integration, and commissioning of robotic systems across multiple customer sites. This role will be based out of Novi, MI or Clinton Township, MI, but requires flexibility to travel to various job sites for installation and launch support.Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, setup, and commission Yaskawa Motoman robotic systems and automation cells
  • Support new equipment launches at customer manufacturing facilities
  • Perform robot setup, calibration, and basic programming adjustments
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues during installation
  • Work closely with PLC and controls teams to integrate robotic systems into production lines
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and layout prints
  • Conduct system testing, validation, and production readiness checks
  • Provide on-site technical support during installation and launch phases
  • Maintain safety compliance at all customer and job sites
Required Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with Yaskawa Motoman robotic systems
  • Background in robotics, automation, or industrial maintenance
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams
