We are looking for an ambitious and creative Yardi Systems Administrator that will join our IT team with a primary responsibility to keep our Yardi environment stable, oversee enhancements and upgrades and provide technical support to our users.
This is not a remote position; we are in office Monday-Friday, 9-5pm
**Who You Are**
You are passionate about being responsible for complex systems and providing the highest level of technical assistance.
You have at least 5 years of experience administering a Yardi environment, or similar Real Estate ERP (RealPage, MRI, Entrada).
You have a solid understanding of the Real Estate industry’s business operations.
You are comfortable working with a small team of talented IT professionals.
Job Description of the Yardi Systems Administrator:
Yardi Systems Administrator will be responsible for the day to day operations of our Yardi environment, which means you will work closely with ownership and department heads to implement our functional requirements, while working with Yardi experts from within Yardi and our preferred outside consultants. We consider our implementation and continued enhancements to the Yardi environment critically important to our business. While the Yardi environment will be your primary responsibility; you will be part of a skilled IT team and will collaborate and support in other areas, while delegating day-to-day user needs to the help desk where possible.
Responsibilities of the Yardi Systems Administrator:
  • Champions the use of Yardi as our primary ERP.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical application issues related to our Yardi SAAS environment. Our currently deployed modules include Voyager, Elevate, Rent Cafe, Rent Cafe, CRM, Advanced Maintenance, Maintenance IQ, Commercial, PayScan, Concierge, job cost, Commercial Edge, and the legal module.
  • System Administration, including user management/access setup, menu configuration, security management.
  • Use SQL and SQL scripting to aid in issue/problem resolution or escalation.
  • Manage Third Party Yardi Consultants work queues and priorities.
  • Lead the maintenance and development of integrations between the Yardi applications and other systems products and services.
  • Upgrades: coordinate with relevant departments for testing and end user training when performing significant system updates/upgrades.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Meet with departments heads to assist in the creation and maintenance of custom reports.
  • Data Management, ensuring data accuracy, consistency and completeness.
  • Attend weekly customer success call with Yardi.
  • Manage outside programmer's projects, these are focused primarily on custom reporting and maintaining and enhancing interfaces built to make Yardi interoperable with other systems.
  • Monitor Help Desk – respond to and direct the response to incoming tickets from users.
  • On call for emergency support (not a common occurrence).
Qualifications of the Yardi Systems Administrator:
  • Natural ability to take ownership, act with a sense of urgency and accept challenges
  • Minimum of 5 years Yardi (or similar platform) experience in a lead technical role.
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in an IT related field.
  • Proficiency in Yardi Voyager 7s and 8 (or similar platform), including modules like P2P, Construction, Rent cafĂ©.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Experience with real estate accounting, including accounting principles and practices.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
