Role Description The Luxury Yacht Sales Broker is a full-time, on-site role based in Newport Beach, CA. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end sales process for new and pre-owned luxury yachts, including prospecting, qualifying leads, conducting client consultations, and presenting SeaNet’s Travel and Local ownership programs. The broker will prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, coordinate sea trials and inspections, and collaborate with operations and finance teams to ensure smooth closings. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining relationships with existing clients, delivering high-touch customer service, and representing SeaNet at marinas, boat shows, and industry events. The broker will also provide client education and training on SeaNet’s programs, maintain accurate CRM records, and stay informed on market trends, inventory, and competitive offerings.
Qualifications
  • Strong Customer Service skills, with a client-focused approach and ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Demonstrated Brokerage and Sales experience, preferably in luxury yachts, marine, automotive, or other high-value assets.
  • Background in Training and client education, with the ability to explain complex ownership and financing structures clearly.
  • Experience in Real Estate or similar transaction-based industries is highly beneficial for handling contracts, negotiations, and equity positions.
  • Knowledge of the luxury yacht market or a strong interest in boating and the marine industry.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to work on-site, manage a sales pipeline, and meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Comfort with CRM systems and basic digital tools for lead management and reporting.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for client meetings, marina visits, and events.
  • Relevant professional licenses or certifications in yacht brokerage or real estate are a plus.
