Job description

Cleaning Associate - Body Shop

Location: Dallas, TX
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm
Compensation: $18/hr. - $20/hr. + full benefits

Southwest International Trucks is hiring a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Associate to join our Dallas Team.  The Cleaning Associate will have a full-time schedule, with access to full benefits and company incentives.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure work areas are kept, clean and organized
  • Clean shop floors using mops and floor scrubbers to remove oil, grease, water and various fluids
  • Property use and store cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment
  • Properly dispose of waste and environmental materials
  • Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety concerns to management
  • Ability to work independently and follow established cleaning schedules, procedures and safety guidelines
  • Deliver and pick-up trucks from customers
  • Move trucks on the lot as needed
  • Help keep the yard clean and organized
  • Work with Technicians as needed
  • Perform other duties that maybe assigned by management

Position Requirements:

  • Comfortable working in hot and humid conditions
  • Experience operating a floor scrubber and forklift
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Additional Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid Driver’s License, CDL a plus
  • Pre-employment drug screening
  • Pre-employment physical examination
