A Yacht Cleaning job involves maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of a yacht, both inside and out. Responsibilities typically include washing the exterior, polishing surfaces, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing cabins, bathrooms, and kitchens. Yacht cleaners use specialized products to protect surfaces from saltwater damage and ensure a pristine finish. This job is essential for keeping the vessel in top condition and enhancing the experience for owners and guests.

What are the typical daily responsibilities of someone working in yacht cleaning?

Yacht cleaners are responsible for cleaning and maintaining both the interior and exterior of vessels, including tasks like washing decks, polishing metal and glass, cleaning cabins, and ensuring all surfaces are free from salt and grime. You may also handle waste disposal, restocking supplies, and checking for maintenance issues that need to be reported. The work is often performed as part of a team, especially for larger yachts, and can vary depending on whether the vessel is docked or preparing for a voyage. Some days may require longer hours or weekend work, especially during busy charter seasons.
