Our Client is seeking a highly skilled Construction Estimator with exceptional Xactimate expertise to join their dedicated team. Position Summary

As a Construction Estimator, you will handle a range of estimates (up to 20 at a time) for reconstruction projects, typically between $3K and $1 million. In this role, you will develop precise estimates, including structural and supplemental details, ensuring no potential value is missed. You will work alongside a seasoned team, including estimators specializing in mitigation, construction, and hybrid needs. Our client values accuracy, attention to detail, and a commitment to high standards in every project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and manage multiple accurate estimates in Xactimate for commercial and select residential reconstruction projects.
  • Perform detailed site assessments to capture all necessary aspects of framing, general construction, and supplement needs.
  • Establish and maintain project budgets, managing overages and keeping the project on track.
  • Meet with clients, adjustors, and consultants to scope and negotiate project estimates.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and Our Client's estimating standards.
  • Actively participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to refine estimating skills.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years in construction estimating, focusing on reconstruction projects.
  • Software: Proficiency in Xactimate with a proven ability to produce clear, accurate estimates.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial and residential reconstruction, framing, general construction, and supplemental line items.
  • Work Ethic: High attention to detail, ability to work independently, and a strong work ethic.
  • Vehicle: Company vehicle or allowance provided.
