Job Summary
World Transport Overseas (WTO) is seeking a highly motivated Senior Sales Executive to join our growing team. This full-time position is based in Newtown Square, PA, with a remote work option available. The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth through the promotion of WTO's international and domestic logistics services. The successful candidate will manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting through closing while serving as a trusted advisor to customers and representing WTO's commitment to exceptional service and logistics expertise.
General Accountabilities
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within target markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.
- Manage the complete sales process from lead generation through contract negotiation and closing.
- Understand customer logistics requirements and develop customized transportation and supply chain solutions.
- Collaborate with operations, customer service, and management teams to ensure successful implementation of customer accounts.
- Meet or exceed established sales goals and revenue targets.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and pricing quotations.
- Maintain accurate sales activity records and pipeline reporting within CRM systems.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention through ongoing communication and support.
- Represent WTO professionally at industry events, trade shows, networking functions, and client meetings.
- Promote WTO's full range of services, including ocean freight, air freight, domestic transportation, customs brokerage, warehousing, and supply chain solutions.

- Proven sales and business development experience, including lead generation, prospecting, and closing new business.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a competitive environment.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the freight forwarding, logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry.
- Knowledge of ocean freight, air freight, domestic transportation, customs clearance, and international logistics operations.
- Familiarity with NVOCC operations and global supply chain solutions.
- Experience using CRM systems, CargoWise, or similar transportation management software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop sales strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant sales, logistics, or supply chain certifications are a plus.
