Aseptic Manufacturing Associate (Weekend Days)

Overview of this Position:
The Aseptic Manufacturing Associate (AMA) is responsible for performing various routine manufacturing tasks following established procedures and cGMP regulations under guidance of a production supervisor and/or senior management.
Shift Details: The primary location for this role is the Butterworth Facility, on shift B (Friday - Sunday, and every other Thursday, from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm).
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree OR a high school diploma and 2+ years relevant work experience in a manufacturing, medical, and/or laboratory environment is required for a Level I role.
  • A bachelor's degree OR a high school diploma and 3+ years relevant work experience in a manufacturing, medical, and/or laboratory environment is required for a Level II role. Must also have experience working in a sterile manufacturing environment.
  • A bachelor's degree OR a high school diploma and 4+ years relevant work experience in a manufacturing, medical, and/or laboratory environment is required for a Level III role. Must also have experience working in a sterile manufacturing environment.
  • Qualification for use of a full-face respirator is required when working with hazardous chemicals. PAPR is required for working with hazardous chemicals during chemical dispense and addition activities.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Previous experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a laboratory environment is preferred.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
  • Perform equipment preparation, bulk drug formulation, and aseptic filling duties as needed.
  • Accurately document data and complete batch records as needed.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitization duties as instructed by the applicable procedure.
  • Successfully complete facility's aseptic gowning and manufacturing qualification program.
  • Perform duties in Grade 5, ISO 6, ISO 7, and ISO 8 cleanrooms.
