Job description

Fehr & Peers is seeking a Proposal & Marketing Coordinator to join our team of professionals passionate about improving communities and contributing to driving innovation in the transportation consulting industry. This position may be based in either our Denver, Colorado or Washington, DC office. In this role, you'll work closely with project managers, principals, and other marketing and business services professionals. Your primary responsibility will be crafting high-quality proposals that address client needs. Through close collaboration, you'll make sure our proposals are polished and stand out to help us win competitive pursuits.ย 

You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with fellow marketing professionals within our company, as well as external teaming partners. This role provides a platform for personal and professional growth, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on both your own career path and the development of your peers. We're looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, a commitment to quality, and a genuine enthusiasm for creating compelling content.ย 

Responsibilities
  • Provide support with researching, monitoring, and tracking potential project opportunities and strategic pursuits, helpingย maintainย visibilityย intoย upcoming RFPs, RFQs, and other procurement opportunities.ย 

  • Contribute toย the coordination of marketing effortsย from pre-RFP release to time of submittal (i.e., proposals, interview preparation, pre-bids, resumeย updates, qualification development, and weekly meetingsabout business pursuits)ย 

  • Collaborateย with project managers, senior management, andย other business services staffย to plan, coordinate, and produce qualifications, proposals, and presentations,ย andย meet relevant deadlinesย 

  • Take ownership of the proposal process and commit to ensuringย proposalsย complyย withย the applicable RFP/RFQ submission instructionsand requirementsย ย 

  • Coordinateย the receipt of necessaryย information from internal clients, external consultants, and other team membersย to includeย in proposal and presentation materialsย ย 

  • Contribute to content development (writing, editing, proofreading) for qualifications, proposals, and presentationsย ย 

  • Use our company's brand style guide and design resources to create attractive and effective graphics and documents for marketing pursuits that compete well with othersย 

  • Update andย maintainย databases of project opportunities, project descriptions, resumes, references, and qualifications materialsย ย 

Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of experienceย 

  • Effectiveย writing, editing, grammar, and verbal communication skillsย ย ย 

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines whileย maintainingย professionalism andย exceptional attention to detailย ย 

  • Strong work ethic and commitment to excellenceย ย 

  • Proficiencyย in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobatย ย 

  • Eagerness to learnย andย developย skills inย graphic design, writing,ย and template managementย 

  • Experienceย in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)ย preferred, butย notย requiredย
